This spring, Taste of Olam Haba gathers for our 7th Annual Liberation Seder, lifting up a theme that could not be more urgent or more Jewish: Welcoming the Stranger.

On Passover, we retell the story of our ancestors’ journey from narrowness to possibility, from Pharaoh’s oppression to collective liberation. And each year, we ask: What does liberation demand of us now? Our tradition teaches that in every generation, each of us must see ourselves as if we personally went out from Mitzrayim. That memory calls us not only to ritual, but to responsibility.

This year, we are especially honored to celebrate the historic Mosaic Templars Cultural Center. Rooted in the history and resilience of Black Arkansans, the MTCC is a powerful setting for our shared stories of struggle and hope.

Passover reminds us that our generation, like all generations, carries an urgent responsibility to work toward collective liberation right now. We are called to resist modern-day systems of cruelty and exclusion, from a tyrannical federal government to the brutality of ICE, and the many assaults on human dignity unfolding around the world.

Together, we will share a ritual meal with song and action, for the whole family.
